RULES OF TENNIS AND REFEREES TRAINING COURSE 2016

 Where:  Scarbro Tennis Centre, Merton Rd, Glenn Innes

 When and When:

·         Wednesday       12^th October  –  7pm to 9pm

·         Monday             17^th October  –  7pm to 9pm

·         Wednesday       19^th October  –  7pm to 9pm

 PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE EVENING SESSIONS

This course is for any person interested learning the Rules of Tennis at all levels and or have an interest in becoming a qualified Tennis Referee.

This is also a perfect opportunity for current officials to refresh and update on the rules of tennis.

CONTENT

The Rules Of Tennis

·         The Role of the Referee and their Responsibilities

·         Preparing the Court

·         Conducting a Draw

·         Duties of a Referee at a Tournament

·         Scorecard/correct writing

·         Dealing with officials, players and spectators

·         NZ Tennis Code of Conduct (of interest to all Tennis personal)

·         Handling on court situations as a Referee

·         Medical time out and injuries

·         Clothing regulations

All Course material will be provided (Rule books etc)

A fee of $30.00 per person will apply for this course.  To be paid on the night of registration.
