Marina Erakovic has continued her winning streak at the WTA tournament in Tokyo by ousting 5th seed Sara Errani in straight sets in the opening round. Marina earned a spot in the main draw by virtue of winning three matches in qualifying. Errani is ranked 12th in the world and recently reached the latter rounds of the US Open so she was in good form going into the Tokyo event. However, Marina overwhelmed the Italian in the feature match played on centre court last night. Her second round opponent is Casey Dellacqua from Australia.
