Tennis Auckland Club Awards Celebrate Excellence at the TotalCoach Tennis Centre
The Tennis Auckland Club Awards were held on Thursday 17 October, at the TotalCoach Tennis Centre, marking a memorable conclusion to the Tennis Auckland AGM. The awards were presented in a convivial atmosphere before a large audience, celebrating the outstanding achievements of clubs across the region. Mark Lewis served as MC, with newly appointed Tennis Auckland President Simon Vannini presenting the trophies.
A major highlight of the evening was Manurewa Tennis Club winning the Club of the Year Award for the very first time. This accolade reflects a remarkable year for the South Auckland club, which saw significant membership growth, major facility upgrades, and strong community engagement. Their efforts have transformed the club into a thriving hub for tennis, setting a new standard for success in the region.
With a spirit of celebration and camaraderie, the awards showcased the dedication and hard work of the many volunteers, players, and administrators who continue to make tennis in Auckland flourish. Congratulations to all the winners!
