Dear Members,

 At the Delegates meeting on February 20th a draft of a change to the Constitution in respect to voting rights for clubs was notified. After discussion we, Pam Sowter, Peter Thomson and Angela Hart, decided to seek input from members with a view to drafting  proposals for changes to the Constitution. We intend to then confer with the Board of Directors of Auckland Tennis.  In due course proposals that result may be put to Delegates in Meeting for discussion or Resolution.

 We remind everyone that there are constraints on amendments due to our interaction with Tennis New Zealand and Tennis Auckland’s charitable status.

 We have commenced our review and now seek advice, in writing, of any items for consideration. Please address these for the attention of Peter Thomson (Email peterthom@xtra.co.nz) no later than 31st March 2014.Input from as many sources as possible will greatly assist us.
